Our friend Donna is offering another Encaustics workshop where the students get to create. Reservations are required and there are a limited number of spaces available. To look at more of Donna’s creations, see the photo examples of some of her artwork listed for her demo that we had on June 9th.
Create a unique 6″ x 6″ encaustic panel utilizing beeswax and damar resin. You will learn basic encaustic painting techniques for application and fusing. We will incorporate the use of stencils and other multimedia techniques into your individualized design. All materials will be provided, but if you have a favorite stencil you want to try, bring it along. Please be aware that use of wax with stencils and heat could cause damage. Donna will let you know if they will work with the wax.
